I have an HP All-in-One. I'm experiencing an issue where I cannot successfully share my phone screen on my PC using an HDMI cable.
I've tried using different HDMI cables and have searched for online solutions, but I haven't been able to resolve the problem.
I want to know If my All-in-one are support Input and Output HDMI or not, If support only Output, how I can switch to Input?
here details of my PC:
system type: 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
Product name : HP All-in-One Desktop 24-cb1xxx
Product number : 6W2Z2EA#A2N
Adition: Windows 11 Home.
Serial Number: [text omitted to protect user privacy]
Note : Only I have only one port HDMI .

Hi @alahmdiha,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
HP All-in-One desktops, including your HP All-in-One Desktop 24, typically support HDMI output but do not have native support for HDMI input. This means that while you can connect the All-in-One to an external monitor or TV to display its screen via HDMI, you cannot use it as a display for another device, such as a phone, via an HDMI connection.
To verify whether your specific model supports HDMI input.
- Check the ports: Most All-in-One desktops with HDMI ports are designed for output only. You can inspect the labeling near the HDMI port. If it says "HDMI-out," it confirms that it's for output only. If it says "HDMI-in" (which is rare for most models), then it supports input.
- Refer to the product manual: You can check your user manual or HP's support page for detailed specs of your HP All-in-One Desktop 24. This will confirm whether HDMI input is supported.
Alternative Solutions for Screen Mirroring
If your HP All-in-One doesn't support HDMI input, you can still mirror your phone's screen to your PC using one of the following wireless options:
- Use Windows' built-in screen mirroring (Miracast): If your All-in-One and phone both support Miracast, you can cast your phone's screen to the PC wirelessly via Wi-Fi.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
