Hi

My HP all-in-one has always been slow, but it was purchased in 2017  so obviously tech has moved on a lot (although it seems lots of people had issues in 2017 as well with the CPU).  The monitor is perfectly fine- I would like to purchase a tower to use with it.  I briefly spoke to someone at Curry's who said using an HDMI would be fine, but a quick Google says:

The display ports available on the All-in-one computer are only Display OUT ports. They do not work as a display IN.

If you want you can connect another monitor to your All-in-one computer using the HDMI port available. However, you cannot use the All-in-one computer as a monitor.

Does this mean its not useable?  Seems a total waste?.....
