AMD Radeon HD 7570
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an HP h8-1240t desktop and the original graphics card in it is an AMD Radeon HD 7570 1GB DDR3 FH PClex16. My computer is a 64 bit on Windows 10. The fan on the graphics card is noisy and cleaning with compressed air helped a little but I want to replace it. I have installed three different cards from 3 different suppliers and they will not work. They are all the same model-AMD Radeon HD 7570.

The GPU is getting power-I can see the fan running. The HD cord from the monitor to the card is inserted in the proper slot. There is only one slot in the motherboard for the card to be installed. The card is completely seated in the slot.

When I remove the new card and replace it with original card, the monitor works fine.

Must I first disable or uninstall my current card, then shut off the computer, replace with a new card, boot up and see if the monitor and card interface? If it does not work and I put my old card back in, I will have no way to enable the monitor as I won't be able to view the monitor. Can you help me? I see no reason why the new card will not work.

@mrbubte,

I reviewed your post and I understand that the new graphics card on the computer is not getting detected.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

What is the product number of your computer?

Meanwhile, I recommend you update the BIOS and the graphics driver from the below link and check if it helps.
