Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

My video card was disappeared. It is GTX 980 Ti. It's original card for HP Envy computer.

It happens after updating drivers and etc. (including BIOS) . I could see only onboard card, but not GTX 980 Ti. I installed another card GTX 1050 Ti. Windows does not see it too. Only onboard card. Both cards work fine on other computer

When I turn on the computer coolers and lights work. But the card is not identified by computer/motherboard/bios.

I tried:
1. Run HP Support Diagnostic Tools and Operstional System Diagnostics. It said: no issues. All drivers and devices are ok.
2. Disable Secure Boot: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03653200
3. Restart BIOS by removing battery for 5 mins
4. Clear CMOS by using jumpers on motherboard.

Nothing helps.

Looks like the motherboard is locked somehow and could not see any cards expect onboard. It does not want to see the external card any longer.

So, I lost external card 😞
