Video not wroking for VGA output on Pavilion a1020n

HP Recommended
Pavilion a1020n

I recently purchased a Pavilion a1020n from a used items store, the VGA output is not functioning, I don't know if it's a driver issue, or if it's because I didn't have a ps/2 mouse on hand and plugged in. I did have a keyboard plugged in though. It did turn on and didn't flash any lights or anything. Any possible solutions?

Hello
this computer is very old ..

If you bought it second hand, couldn't you test it before (it's on a site on the net?)
Unfortunately there was a big risk that it would not work
If you have connected a working screen, with a good VGa cable
That the computer does not seem to start, no matter if a mouse is plugged in, something must be happening!
After pressing the power button do you have a sign of hard drive activity or not (usually you have a flashing light on the tower)
Noise from the fans, running at full speed, or nothing at all ??
