What chord or cable do I use to add a 2nd monitor to my Intel Core i5-4570T (Haswell) 2.9 GHz Dual C

Trying to add addition monitor to my All in one touch screen and used usb to hdmi cable and it will not detect the montior. What type of adapter or connector should be used in this application?
