Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Whenever I play games on my PC I occassionally get a bunch of XO's all over my screen and my sreeen gets distorted at the top like an oily distortion. I have 2 monitors set up and they're both HP25x's and I dont know what's going on. I also have weird sounds when my game crashes. It goes from low pitch to high pitch and im very confised on why that is. I updated all of my drivers and my PC entirely. Can somebody please help me out? I don't know whether its my screens or my actual PC. Thank you very much.

Welcome to the forum.

I am not a HP employee.

 

Hard to assist without your PC's product number. Don't know your hardware configuration, don't know how old your PC is.

 

Try one monitor.

 

Some RTX 2080 cards were failing because of faulty Micron memory chips.

 

Could be a CPU or GPU thermal issue.
