Z27
macOS 10.13 High Sierra

Hi,

I've a Z27 monitor connected via DisplayPort to my Mac mini 2012's Thunderbolt 2 port.

When the Mac goes to sleep alone, turning it on not always turns the monitor on. This works fine when connecting via HDMI.

To have the monitor work again, I have to disconnect both the power cord and the display cable from the monitor. After 30 seconds, I can reconnect them and have them work again together.

This doesn't happen when the Mac is connected to an older HP LP2475w monitor via the same ports.

The monitor's settings are the default ones, apart for the Brightness.

Is there something I should be worried about?

Best,

Paolo
