HP Z27 4K-UHD-Display
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,
My Z27 display has a factory calibrated sRGB (D65) mode. D65 means that the monitor should render at 6504K. I bought an "X-rite i1 Display Pro" to calibrate the monitor and the D65 color preset seems to be false.

Rather than 6504K it is 7695K (x:0.301/ y:0.299).  This shouldn't be with a factory calibrated monitor at D65, should it?

At factory settings (custom colors at default) the monitor renders at 8129K (x:0.294/ y:0.302). I can calibrate the monitor with the RGB sliders but this way I loose too much contrast. I am left with approximately 800:1.

Is it normal that the sRGB (D65) color preset is closer to D75 rather than D65 or is my monitor broken, badly calibrated?
