HP All-in-One PC 27-dp1000i (1K788AV)

all gradients on screen have banding and fine lines in them. I have 2 different HP all in ones and they have both started doing it, both are less than 6 months old. I am assuming it is due to an auto upgrade within the past week.

any ideas? I have tried the numerous ways to get through to HP support as they are still under warranty but that is pointless.
