So when I read this:
"Older cards supported on HPE WS460c Gen8 BladeSystem that are not supported by this driver include: NVIDIA Quadro 4000/5000/6000, Quadro 500M/1000M, and all FX series cards.
Please use version 377.59 for these older cards."
On this same page, I clicked the revision history tab and scrolled down to 377.59. There I could only see a Win 7 version.
I will try the 358.08 Win 10 version now....

Unfortunately,
NVIDIA_377.59_Win10_64bit_HPGraphServBld_Driver.exe (242 MB)
also produced BLACK screen.
So far, the only driver combination that has worked is 10.18.13.5330 (NVIDIA 353.30) WIN 10-64 (which is where I started from).
Thank you Promethee. I don't know if there's anything else to be tried.

do you have at any time an option which allows either to make a simple update / installation
either to do a complete installation
(I do not have the exact mention in mind, but I have two possibilities, when I can update my card)
The complete option solves some problem

I may not have understood, have you tried the other versions available in the link, so?
