Hi @mkedar1,

Thank you for the response.

Try these steps:

Check Cable Connections:

  • Ensure that all cables are securely connected from the laptop to the monitor.
  • If possible, try a different cable to rule out any cable issues.

Select the Correct Input Source:

  • On your external monitor, use the built-in control panel to select the appropriate input source.

Windows Display Settings:

  • Right-click on the desktop and select "Display settings."
  • Under "Multiple displays," ensure that the correct display arrangement is selected (e.g., "Extend these displays" or "Duplicate these displays").

Update Graphics Drivers:

  • Visit the Official HP Support website and enter your product details to find and download any available driver updates for your graphics adapter.
  • Alternatively, use Windows Update to check for and install any optional updates related to drivers.

Check Graphics Card Settings:

  • Open the graphics card control panel (e.g., Intel, NVIDIA, or AMD) and look for options related to multiple displays.

Try a Different Port:

  • If your HP laptop has more than one display port (HDMI, DisplayPort, USB-C), try connecting the second screen using a different port.

BIOS and Firmware Updates:

  • Check the HP Support website for any BIOS or firmware updates that might address connectivity issues.

I hope this helps.
