e243m monitor compatibility with s100 soundbar

Hi, I'm having some issues installing my  S100 speaker bar onto my e243m EliteDisplay monitor.

According to the instruction booklet the soundbar should be compatible with "EliteDisplay" monitors, and I should be able to attach it to the bottom of it after removing some kind of plastic stripe and revealing the holes for insertion.

I have found a rubber stripe glued to the bottom of the monitor, but there was nothing beneath it (maybe it was actually there just for padding/protection?).

So my question is, is the soundbar compatible with my monitor, and if so how do I attach it? (I can't even find the holes)
