Hi,
I'm trying to connect my PC to my TV.
They both have HDMI ports. but the TV is not detected on my PC. I can connect to the same TV through wireless.
I connected another laptop using the same HDMI cable and port on the TV so i know the TV port and cable is working fine. I connected the laptop and PC using the HDMI cable and that did not work either.
How do i get the HDMI on my PC to work.

Are you sure it is an HP ENVY BT 23-n010xt ? I can't find its specs. My question: What is the HDMI port ? Is it an IN port or an OUT port ?
If IN, you can't connect it to an external monitor. It is suitable for input from a game console such as PS/4, xBox.
Regards.
