Hello;

I've a hp elite 7200 mt desktop computer. I bough a "MSI Radeon RC 550 2GT LP OC" graphics card but the graphics card is not being detected by HP/Windows 10 .

 

Does "HP Elite 7200 MT" support "MSI Radeon RC 550 2GT LP OC" graphic card?

I just plugged the card to the computer and connected hdmi cable of the monitor. Should I do anything else to work with new card?

Hi:

 

The video card you are trying to install is much too new for your PC's legacy BIOS, for which the latest version is 7.15.

 

In order to run a video card...AMD Radeon RX 550 or a NVidia GT 7xx or newer, your PC has to have a BIOS with a revision of 8.1x or newer.

 

You will need to install a legacy graphics card such as one of the Nvidia GT(X) 6xx or AMD Radeon HD 6xxx series.
