having same issue here with HP Costco 24-b017c Pavillion AIO desktop - the touch hardware is working because I can get it to work with certain drivers for the chipset or graphics card and then a windows update will occur and I lose the touch

Started happening with Windows 10 1903 and then came back on 1909 and then I lost it again.  Now i can't seem to get it back.

Hardware diagnostics are fine, this is some sort of driver issue.   I've tried the HP support assistant and installed and updated all drivers as well as bios and even reinstalled windows 10 without any resolution.
