HP Recommended

hello, I keep getting this message on the monitor..."Input Signal Out of Range Change Settings to 1920 x 1080 -  60Hz" and moments later "Monitor Going to Sleep". From the monitor main menu - information....current settings : H = 66kHz  V = 60Hz; recommended settings ; 1920 x 1080 - 60Hz. Please how do I change the current settings to the recommended settings....HELP. thank you
