my computer screen is black you can tell it on but its black and when i connect it to a tv i can see

my display screen went black while i was watching a movie you can tell it on but you can see any thing except for when u plug it up to a TV or Monitor i don’t know how to fix if and anyone here experienced this and knows how to fix it please respond.  thats the black screen its showing

Have you tried rebooting?

what model of laptop is this? is it still under warranty?

yes it’s still under warranty and im not sure what model

during the reboot, do you ever see the HP logo appear, etc.?

Try getting to the BIOS boot menu; reboot/power-on the laptop and continuously press ESC and hopefully you will see the HP logo and a boot menu.

If you no longer anything on the laptop screen, then i suggest that you contact HP support.
