my hp tower computer has problem with it video cable or video source

@Jessy_88 -- if you have an external monitor, it may have multiple "video-input" ports: VGA, DVI, HDMI, DisplayPort.

 

You must use the "input" (or "source") button on the monitor to tell it which of the above ports is to be the "active" port.

If you have selected the wrong one, you might see "no input source detected".
