it looks like a camera lense on the left upper frame of the monitor but i cant find anything about it...you can even see it in companies photos...HP Pavilion w2408h LCD wide-screen flat panel monitorwhat is it

No, it does not have a camera:

It could be simply a hole for other option on other  hp w2408* monitor (note * can be from a to z).
