my pc won't turn on. the last time it was used, a few hours ago, it shut down normally but the external hard drive was still attached

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I see that your HP ENVY - 13-Ad102nl does not power on.

I suggest that you follow the steps listed below to perform a hard reset on the unit.
1> Turn off the laptop, disconnect the power adapter.
2> Press and hold the F6 and power button for 20 seconds.
3> Then connect the power cable back and try turning on the laptop.
