lHP Pavilion All-in-One 24-xa0xxx My desktop ion 65XX
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Upon start up, after putting in my ID, I get the below as per screen shot.

How to remove the Left hand blank square from appearing. ESC removes it but I want it gone.

Not so important, the task bar was black, now a light grey, not clear for me. How to return to black.

Thankyou all

Thank-you for your assistance with this matter.

The steps you offered seam simple, but as a 71 year old, I am reluctant to attempt them.

I was told that the issue is a simple settings issues, and I will attempt to rectify that way as a first.

If this does not work, I will attempt your solution.

It is an annoyance really, but I can live with it but would prefer not to as this has only happened after I purchased this new HP computer.

Again, I thank you for your reply
