Hi @michael89898,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing a touchscreen issue with your HP device. Here are some possible solutions to try.

  • Clean the screen: Sometimes a touch screen may not work properly if there's dirt or debris on the screen. Try wiping the screen with a soft cloth to remove any dirt or fingerprints.
  • Restart the device: Sometimes a simple restart can fix issues with the touch screen. Try turning off the device and turning it back on again.
  • Update the drivers: Check for any updates to the touch screen drivers. You can do this by going to the Device Manager, finding the touchscreen driver, and checking for updates.
  • Run a diagnostic test: HP devices often come with built-in diagnostic tests that can help identify issues with the hardware. Check your device's user manual to see if there's a diagnostic test you can run.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
