Solved!

upgrade Videocard

HP Recommended
HP h8-1206eo 1.01
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I try to upgrade my videocard AMD Radeon HD 7570 to a Geforce 1070 GTX G1 Gaming 8Gb. But it seems that the computer/Windows don't start and I can't see anything on my Screen (VGA-screen). Processor is Intel Core i/-2600 and my mainboard is Pegatron Corp. 2AB5 1.01. Both processor and mainboard is orginally in the desktop HP-computer.

Is it not possible to install such a videocard in my computer ?

Kind regards

Arne in Denmark

That is a definable  possible solution.  Changing the motherboard to a more modern BIOS on a retail motherboard is a way to go.

Here is the support page for that PC

https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-pavilion-hpe-h8-1200-desktop-pc-series/5187019/model/5292564...

The motherboard is listed as

IPISB-CH2 (Chicago)

That happens to be a highly discussed topic on the forums.  Here are two of them, but the answer to the question is those newer video cards will not work in that PC.
