what kind of video card can I use

HP Recommended
HP Pavilion Slimline 400-034 Desktop PC
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

My video suddenly shuts off sometimes. I have the onboard video.  I want to add a card. I need to know a couple of things.

1. what video output is this machine capable of.   can I use an HD card:

2. what specific cards will work. I know they have to be PCI Express X 16 Gen 2.  But what fits that description.  How about an HP 635192-001 GeForce 405 1GB DDR3 PCI-E x16 Video Graphics Card work, will this work. What is it? Can I support HD, SVGA, VG or what.

The Motherboard has the PCI Express X 16 Gen 2 Slot and the GeForce 405 1GB DDR3 PCI-E x16 Video Graphics will work on your Computer

The Output will depend on the Graphics Card you use.

The NVIDIA GeForce 405 has HDMI, VGA and DVI output
