AX210 Windows 10 1607(14393.3443) - 802.11AX radio type showing as 'unknown'
06-22-2022 12:45 AM

hi
When connecting to 802.11AX capable access point, Windows 10 is showing the radio type as "unknown". Removed Intel Proset/Wireless software (including saved data), as well as hardware from Device Manager and reinstalled with latest driver. No change.
Operating System: Windows 10 1607(14393.3443)
Does this version of win10 not support wifi6? But I didn't find relevant information。
Anyone know why the driver is showing "unknown" in supported radio types and how I can remedy it?
thanks

Hello @kinfai_cheung
(1) Update wifi driver
Intel WLAN Driver for WE10I 64bit | 22.110.1.1 Rev.A | 12.0 MB | Feb 18, 2022 | Download |
(2) Reboot your computer and test again ...
Please report your results.

Hello @kinfai_cheung
(1) Unzip the exe file with 7-zip, then you will get a directory structure containing the driver files.
(2) Go to windows device manager, select your wifi card to update driver from local computer and set the directory with the extracted drivers. Try to update the driver.
(3) Test again ...
best regards
