EliteOne 800 G1 All in One
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I was thinking of buying one used HP EliteOne 800 G1 All in One, but I would want to upgrade the WiFi card that is in the computer right now (Intel Centrino Advance-N 6205) to a WiFi and bluetooth combo card.

Can I put in what I want (like a Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260) or is the BIOS locked to some specific cards that it accepts?

Thanks in advance

Best regards

Ingomika

Hi:

That model should not have a BIOS whitelist.

Get this model HP 7260 AC.  You should be able to find it on eBay.  Search by the HP part number, not the model of the wifi card.

Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 802.11 ac 2x2 WiFi + BT 4.0    HP Part # 710661-001
