Just subscribed to Xfinity XFi  with 600 mbps wifi speed but speed check of my computer shows I am only getting about 51 mbps wifi speed.   Can I increase my computer speed using a USB wifi 1200 mbps adapter without removing the wifi card installed inside the computer?  I don't want to dig into there.

Yes, you can use USB wifi adapter to get better speed, your machine can run BOTH adapters and it is smart enough to connect to the faster connection. If NOT, you can disable the old one.

I keep my machine to use both for testing as shown:

I installed a 800 mbps adapters, disabled my old internal WiFi card and connected to my 600 mbps xfinity WiFi yet the speed test shows I am only getting 75 mbps speed, compared to 50 mbps of my internal WiFi card.  Does my computer have another hardware issue that limits WiFi speed capability?
