HP pavillion E2 vision
Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)
I'm used to Macs.
You load the machine. Hot thexwifi icon,
A bunch come up. Choose the one you want, type password and you're done.

Now I'm trying to connect an HP pavillion to our home wifi and it's impossible.

Clear instructions would be much appreciated.

Thanks so much,

Hi,

Very simple,

(a) Click the wireless signal icon, you can see a whole bunch of wireless network around,

(b) Click yours and select Connect,

(c) Enter network password,

Now up you go. Is this the same ?

Regards.

Hi

Thanks. This is what I imagined I should do.
But the "wireless signal icon" you mention in step a) is unavailable.

Instead I can see what is called a network Icon which is a screen with a cable.
This has a Red Cross on it.

When I click it is says no networks available and asks to connect with DSL! Very old school

So yeah I'm confused.

Thanks for your help.

Pizzaslice.
