I have checked everything and reconnected every wire. I have restarted and powered on and off. I still can't get connected to the internet.

Hi
Make, Model and OS please.
SKU: if possible by this method
WinKey + R and type
msinfo32
Read Line 9
System SKU: N6K07EA#ABU

Please do not post Serial Numbers.

3 simple ping tests using the command line, assuming you have one.

Try, which ever is easiest the name or the numbers.

C:\>ping loopback

Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss),

C:\>ping 127.0.0.1

Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss),

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Next is to your Gateway  (Modem/Router) and it varies so try ...
C:\>ping 192.168.0.1
Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss),
C:\>ping 192.168.1.1
Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 0, Lost = 4 (100% loss),
~
Finally.....
C:\>ping google.com
Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss),
and give the results please.
Hi, same problem here.
I tried your solution:
Don't know what you mean by line 9.
I use a HP Omni 120-1200el running windows 7.
> ping loopback gives me 0% data loss.
> ping 127.0.0.1 same, zero data loss
> ping to my home ip adress gives me 100% data loss. (while on ethernet)
The wifi menu says it can't find any wireless network and if I use an ethernet cable it still doesn't connect to my local net.
I don't kwnow what to do, if the wifi adapter was fried the ethernet cable would still works, but it doesn't...
At the voice periferic with problems, it says that the WAN miniport and the native wifi filter don't exist, work properly or the drivers are not up to date. I tried to download the drivers from a different computer and installing them via usb but it says they are updated to the latest version.
What do I do? Buy a new wifi module? But that doesn't solve the ethernet problem...
Thank you for your help,
L.
