Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My pc is from 2013. It has always worked with Wi-Fi. Without having done anything special, Wi-Fi doesn't work anymore. The PC no longer sees any Wi-Fi network. My other devices (other PCs, Smartphones, ...) continue to work perfectly on my Wi-Fi.
Thanks in advance for the help!

Hi:

The parts list for your PC indicates that it comes with a Ralink RT5390 WIFI adapter.

HP PartSurfer

Unfortunately, that is a very common issue with that model WIFI adapter, and the newer builds of W10.

There is no fix other than to replace the internal Ralink card with one that has better support for W10, or purchase a USB WIFI adapter.

If you open up the PC and let me know how many antenna wires are connected to the Ralink wifi card, I will give you some recommendations for a replacement.

Below is the link to the service manual to help you open up the PC.

Upgrading and Servicing Guide (hp.com)

The wifi card will be lying flat on the motherboard, will look like the illustration below, and have one or two thin antenna wires connected to it.

Dear,
sorry for the late response.
I opted for the easiest solution and bought a NetGear AC600 WiFi USB stick. Very easy to install. My PC is now working perfectly in WiFi mode again.
Thank you very much for your help!
