I have Wi-Fi, but when I go to use the web browser or my email it pops up error no internet! What should I do?

@Donn10 -- connecting to the Internet takes two steps:

 

1. a properly-configured WiFi adapter inside your computer must have a working connection to your WiFi router;

 

2. your router must have a valid connection to the Internet.

 

If your computer has a socket for an Ethernet cable, connect your computer to your router via an Ethernet cable.  Does this give you an Internet connection?

 

Do you have any other WiFi-capable devices, such as a smart-phone? Can your device make a WiFi connection to your router? Does that give your device an Internet connection?

 

Do you have any other computer, with an Ethernet socket, that you can connect, with an Ethernet cable, to your router? Does that give your computer an Internet connection?
