Disclaimer: I have attempted to read the queries with regarding Wifi Connectivity Issues and Realtek RTL8188EE 802.11 bgn Wi-Fi Adapter. However, in all honesty, I cannot understand the discussions. Please forgive me if this is a repeat question but please try to guide me with the assumption that I don't know technical terms. Thank you so much for your patience.
When I opened my PC this morning, I couldn't connect to the Wifi. Opening "Network and Internet Settings">"View your Network Properties", it is indicated there:
Description Realtek RTL8188EE 802.11 bgn Wi-Fi Adapter
Status: Not Present
Connectivity (IPv4/IPv6): Disconnected
Going to device manager, the Device status states:
"Currently, this hardware device is not connected to the computer (Code 45).
To fix this problem, reconnect this hardware device to the computer."
I cannot conduct the online hardware test precisely because I cannot access the internet on the said computer (no available ethernet at the office either). I also don't know how to open this thing to reconnect the adapter since this is an All-in-One Desktop PC. Please help me.

First:- Turn off the computer, press and hold the PWR button for 4 seconds.
Then - Leave only keyboard and mouse connected, disconnect all externally connected
devices such as Docking Station, USB storage devices, displays, and printers.
Unplug the AC adapter from the computer.
Next - Press and Hold the Power button for 15 seconds to Hard Reset.
Rinse and Repeat; Re-Connect the AC adapter.
NOW begin checking/testing/proving the Hardware is fit for purpose.
Power on your PC, press ESC (repeatedly), then F2 at the prompt.
Choose System Tests (Fast Test does a 4 minute hardware check).
