The specs of my P6-2100 says it came with a wireless LAN card. Windows device manager shows the installed Realtek PCIe GBE Family controller that uses the cabled LAN, but no evidence of a wireless adapter. How can I tell if there really is a wireless adapter in the computer, or were the specs in error? I realize I could just plug a USB Wifi adapter in, but if there's already a wifi adapter that came with the computer I'd like to avoid having something else protruding from the back of the computer. If you're wondering why I'm posting on such an ancient computer - I just inherited it from my mother and will use it as my backup in a room without wired LAN access.

Hi:
What is the product number of the PC?
p6-2100 is a model series.
Some models in that series came with built in Wi-Fi and some did not.
Also, if the PC came with a Ralink Wi-Fi card and you are running W10 on it, the Ralink card will completely disappear from the device manager and there is no fix other than to either replace the internal card with a different model or use a USB Wi-Fi adapter.
