Product: HP Envy 750-175se DT
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Cannot pair with Bluetooth headphones (Sony WH-1000XM3). Headphones connect fine with iPhone 6s. Other Bluetooth devices connect fine including other headphones. Sony says no drivers needed. Trouble shooting says can't find drivers. Tried 3rd party Bluetooth with dongle which paired but no audio. Sony not listed to make it the default audio device. Sony customer support asks whether my desktop supports A2DP? I don't know the answer to that. Help please with solution!

@Chiguy1, welcome to the forum.

 

Here is a good article that explains A2DP.  Also, here is the Maintenance and Service Guide for the computer.  In Chapter 3, Page 9, it describes how to use Bluetooth wireless devices.  It doesn't mention A2DP here or anywhere else that I could find at a quick glance.
