Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Does the HP OfficeJet Pro 8030 series support a wired Ethernet connection? I have disabled the wireless connection and attempted to have the device obtain an IP address DHCP. Link LED on printer side is active but link LED on switch is always dark. Have tried using multiple switches.

Pls advise

@jd12345 -- take a close look at the order of the coloured wires at both ends of the Ethernet cable.

The two orderings need to be identical -- you do not want to have a "cross-over" cable.

A "cross-over" cable wires the 2 "Send/Receive" wires at one end to the 2 "Receive/Send" wires at the other end.

Or, just try a different Ethernet cable.

Have tried multiple cables. Note: If I were using a MDI-X cable there wouldn't be link on both sides. At the moment the link LED appear on the printer.
