Drivers needed for windows 7

HP Recommended
Notebook 15q-bu011tx
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

My laptop had free dos on it and now I have installed windows 7 on it. But I am unable to install any driver on it. USB is not working, no network adapters, no wifi, nothing.

Not sure how to install drivers on it.

and also don't know where to install them from.

Kindly help.

Hi:

Your notebook has a DVD drive, so burn the driver files you need to a DVD.

Here are the USB3 drivers...

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/22824/Intel-USB-3-0-eXtensible-Host-Controller-Driver-for-...

Here is the ethernet driver...download, unzip and run the setup application from the W7 driver.

There is no information online regarding what model wifi card your notebook comes with, so please post the hardware ID for the device you see listed in the device manager labeled as a Network Controller.

Use this guide for how to find the hardware ID.

You do realize that Intel only developed W10 graphics drivers for the onboard Intel graphics, correct?

Microsoft and Intel will not support any 7th gen platforms except for W10.

So unless you can modify the W10 graphics driver to work on W7, the graphics will not work.

You will also have to use the AMD graphics driver directly from AMD if you get the onboard Intel graphics to work.
