Each time I turn on pc the date and time reverts to2001 despite resetting every time.

I have reset date and time on every occasion, to no avail. Being an OAP there is probably some thing I'm not doing right.

I am wireless.

Hi:

Normally when your PC has that problem, it is time to replace the coin cell battery on the motherboard, which maintains the time and other settings when the PC is shut down.

It is a standard 3V CR2032 battery that can be purchased almost anywhere.

Here is a picture of the motherboard your PC has.

The coin cell battery is located to the right of those small black slots on the lower left of the picture.
