HP troubleshooting says my wireless is turned off. Suspect bios changed by software upgrade. Should I check the bios or fix some other way? How do I safely check/change bios.

Yes. I finally purchased a USB wifi adapter. That is what I'm using now. It is slow.

Last time the Ralink worked was 9/17/2017, just prior to me going in the hospital on the morning of the 18th.

Thinking it was outpatient surgery, I put the envy in sleep mode on Sunday the 17th. 4 operations later and therapy. I recently got the envy moved upstairs where I can reach it with my wheelchair.

I followed all the trouble shooting steps to include uninstall/install. It says the driver is installed correctly and needs to be turned on.

I even recovered back to 9/9/2017. That was only backup prior to 9/18. Driver still did not work. The internet access symbol in bottom right turned BLUE then went RED.

I'm guessing that a software upgrade that was done at 2AM on 9/18/2017 did something?

This has to be a 'duh' easy fix.  I just can't find it.

Installed new printer tonight all went well.  Printed alignment page great showed color

I tried to print several personal documents and can't get color.  Otherwise quality is great.

Played around with my print choices, printed many documents.......

Printer NOT on black.    Using Media Quality but also tried others.

Printed diagnostic quality sheet A-ok

Can't figure this out

@CoryCC

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

To help you further with this, let us know the Printer name and the Operating System installed on the device your Printer is connected to.

Are you able to copy in color if the Printer has the copy function?

Thanks 🙂
