Espero que puedan ayudarme Tengo un HP EliteDesk 800 G2 SFF Me gustaría instalar una tarjeta wifi Intel AX210 pero me pide un puerto usb de 9 pines Noté que hay un puerto sd-rdr libre en la placa base mi pregunta es si puedes instalarlo allí o si tienen otra forma de instalarlo .

Hope you can help me I have an HP EliteDesk 800 G2 SFF I would like to install an Intel AX210 wifi card but it asks for a 9 pin usb port I noticed there is a free sd-rdr port on the motherboard my question is if you can install it there or if they have another way to install it

Hi:

 

If the SD card reader port has 9 pins, it should work because the SD card reader is USB powered.

 

Note that the USB connection is only needed to work the Bluetooth, not the wifi.

I have seen that it has 11 pins since it is for sd rdr card but it seems that it can enter the 9 pins that are the normal ones since I have noticed that the usb devices of the hp boards have 11 pins

Yes, that will work just fine.

 

You leave the two pins on the right side of your picture showing.

 

I did the same thing with a similar wifi adapter on a Dell PC that had one of those 11 pin ports, and the Bluetooth worked fine.
