On the quick set up sheet with the hp wireless mouse x4500 it show the dongle connected to the laptop usb in section 4. In section B of the same sheet it show it inserted in the mouse? Why? Is it just a place to store it? What does the battery illustration mean?

WRitten instructions are much clearer!

Hello;

Allow me to welcome you to the HP forums!

I read your post about your HP wireless mouse questions and wanted to help.

As to the first, yes, that is simply a place to store the WiFi dongle when the mouse is not in juse.

As to the second, that's showing the location of an LED on the mouse which lights solid initially, and (I believe) blinks with the battery is low.

Good Luck
