Hi there,

recently bought on eBay a set of wireless keyboard and mouse. The keyboard pairs to laptop and works fine. But not the mouse... after a couple of minutes it turns off.

I tried all advices: checked the USB power management, updated all drivers etc.

Furthermore, attached the mouse to Android TV box to check up whether it will work there but not: after awhile it turns off...

Please help!

Since the wireless mouse turns-off on multiple devices, my guess is that its battery is failing. Try replacing the battery.

Hint: use a "multimeter" to measure the amperage produced by the current battery, and the replacement battery, to see how weak the current battery has become.

I tried several types of batteries but unsuccessfully 😞

I tried to modify the registry (HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\USB parameters) but without any luck.

Switching On/Off makes the mouse active again but this is not a solution.

I really don't know what to do...

This symptom is that of failing electronics inside the mouse. There is nothing you can do to fix it.

Can you return the mouse to the eBay seller?

Can you use the keyboard, discard the mouse, and purchase & use a different wireless mouse?
