I am ready to return this printer and get one that just hooks up to the desk top with a cable. Every time I use it, there is a different issue with the software. Today the software found the printer but would not scan until I went to the App Store and hit the open key there for the HP "Smart" (I use that word advisedly) app. Never had this issue before. Also, on a brand new HP cartridge, I have logged 600 pages. After the first 20, the software told me I was running low on toner. Is this HP marketing working to sell more cartridges before its time?? Anyone else ready to ship a unit back? Have ideas of alternative software for MAC that will allow me to use this unit without using the HP app? I should add that I am not interested in doing R&D for HP to improve this App. Given the cost of the unit and the value of my time, this should work or they should take it back--Thanks
