1. How do I put on the hp Touchsmart 520 wireless keyboard?

2. How do I know the keyboard has been put on? Is there an indicator to show that it is on?

3. How do I connect the keyboard to the computer?

this type of computer, seems to me a bit old..
Did you buy the computer recently, used..
is the keyboard purchased separately, is it a keyboard/mouse kit?
wireless keyboards must have a usb dongle, in most cases, so you must connect this dongle to a usb port
If you don't have a dongle, then you will need to replace this keyboard

The  hp Touchsmart 520 has no dongle for the keyboard.

The wireless mouse and keyboard came with the system.

It was bought in 2013 and the window on it since then is windows 7.

We stopped using it for some years. To start using it now, we can't remember  how to go about it.

But then, we used the mouse and keyboard without issues
