Your machine does have Wireless LAN 802.11 b/g/n featuring Single-band (2.4 Ghz) 1x1. Its specs

Please ask AT&T staff to allow modem/router to broadcast both bands (dual band) which are 2.4GHz and 5.0 GHz otherwise your machine can't connect (can't see SSID of your network).
