HP Pavilion 580-023w Intel Dual Band Wireless-ac 3168
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

So I have an HP pavilion gaming and computer that originally had a 300W power supply. I recently just upgraded it to a 500W power supply and everything is working fine but the wireless adapter (Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 3168). After the replacement it just stop working and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get it to work again. Any help would be appreciated if there is any thing I need to do please feel free to inform me.

PS: Computer is on one side of the house away from ethernet cables so I am using my mobile device and to communicate.

Hi:

Most likely you disconnected the thin and delicate antenna cables from the wifi card, so it has no reception.

So, hunt around inside the case for two loose antenna wires, and the wifi card is lying flat on the motherboard.

Reconnect the antenna cables to the wifi card, and you should be back in business.

Here is a link that shows a picture of the wifi card.
