My wireless connection is very slow. I need to know if I can re-configure connection, card, etc.  Other devices in home are in excess of 150mb.  This computer is hetting 3.8mb upload speed!

Hi! @OMack,

Is the ethernet connection functioning correctly?

How far is the router from the PC?

Please share the product number of the PC to assist you better.

You can update the windows to the latest version and try updating the wireless drivers and BIOS on the PC to the latest version using the HP support assistant.

Refer this article to know more information about using the HP support assistant. Click Here

Note: Before uninstalling the wireless drivers make sure the PC is connected with an ethernet connection.

Also, please try the steps recommended below.

There are a lot of possible causes for this issue to occurred. And since resetting your TCP/IP did not work. We suggest that you Reconfigure your TCP/IP and check if there's any changes. To do this, follow these steps:

Run Command Prompt as Administrator.

Run these following commands:

netsh int tcp set heuristics disabled

netsh int tcp set global autotuninglevel=disabled

netsh int tcp set global rss=enabled

Disabling Large Send Offload

Open Start Menu and right-click on the Computer and select "Properties."
Now Click on "Device Manager" from control panel.
Among all the devices listed, expand "Network Adapters."
Find your Network Card and double-click on it.
Select "Advanced" tab and Select "Large Send Offload V2 (IPv4)" and set the value to Disabled.
Do the same for Large Send Offload V2 (IPv6) (if it is available).
Click OK.

Hope this answers your query!

Have a great day! 🙂
