My HP Pavilion 24-a210 - 23.8" will not connect to a wireless connection. I've had it for 5months.

My desktop won't connect to a wireless connection. I've troubleshooted the problem 3times with it saying I need to attach an ethernet cable but my computer was never hooked up. I need the help solving this problem.

I had the same issue, since monday, with my HP Pavilion All-in-One 27-r0xx, windows10 64bits.

Just got of the phone with HP support in the Netherlands, and they solved it. 🙂

We downloaded and installed these 3 drivers:

Drivers voor Realtek Ethernet-controller
Intel draadloze LAN-driver
Realtek RTL8000-serie Wireless LAN-driver

From https://support.hp.com/nl-nl/drivers

Then did a reset,so:

switch off the computer
take off the powercable
hold the on/off button for 20 seconds
put in the power cable again
start up

After this, I was able again to select and use wifi again.
