My laptop cant find my wifi even though my phone can connect to it

HP Recommended
HP 15 Notebook PC
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (32-bit)

For some reason my laptop cant find my wifi when I want to connect to it. Itll find other ones just not mine for some reason

What is your machine ? Probably it ONLY has wifi adapter which supports 2.4GHz networks. Please allow your router to broadcast dual bands which are 2.4GHz and 5.0GHz. Machine will "see" 2.4GHz network and allow you to connect.
