Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

  • Did this happen after a recent window or software update?
  • Have you made any hardware/software changes?
  • Have you tried any troubleshooting steps?
  • What is the operating system?

I have a few troubleshooting steps we could try to fix the issue:

  1. Turn off the computer.

  2. Disconnect all connected devices from the computer except the mouse, and keyboard. This includes removing web cameras, USB devices, thumb drives, camera-type memory cards, and other displays.

  3. If the display has a detachable cable, obtain a second display cable for testing purposes.

  4. Disconnect the display power cable, wait about 30 seconds, reconnect the cable and then turn on the display to check.

And, also follow the document Display and Touchscreen Troubleshooting

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
